Viewing Research on Main Screen [UI]

Would be nice

My apologies if this is possible, or I missed it, but it would be nice if you could see the status of research without going to the research tab, IE somewhere on the main UI have either the icon or name of the currently researched item as well as %.

Sometimes I miss the information that research is done, so a visual cue of status would be helpful

The research button at the top blinks if research is still in progress. When it stops blinking there is no more research queued. Also, I believe events appear in the event view + audio events when research subjects are completed. You can hover over the event to see more detail, a history, and click it to jump the research window.

Yep yep, works very well now that I am use to it.

Too bad you can't integrate a progress bar into the button itself.

How about reordering the research queue from the main screen?
Or really, way any easier then currently.

EX. Sometimes I realize I need that one researchable a lot faster than all the weapons upgrades in front of it, but it is a hassle to delete everything before it.

I want to shuffle and reorganize.

Do you think it would be possible to have the icon of the item currently being researched blink? I know that the little icon has a progress bar at the top, but very often I will queue a whole lot of research, and then I'll come back and want to cancel the currently researching one in favor of another. The only issue is that it takes me forever to find the one that's in the process of being researched, but if the one being researched was a brighter color, of if it was blinking, or had a border around it, that would be fantastic.

Couldn't agree more. This saying strikes a positive chord with the team.

We'll certainly take a look at the research buttons activation when we do a thorough assessment of the research screen. We feel there is room for making this area more intuitive in several ways. Thanks!
