Custom Faction Icons

Can anyone find out how to insert a custom faction icon into the game? If you could that'd be sweet (of course mine would be the Imperial icon).

Just a matter of editing it into RaceLogos.tga in it in the textures folder. Though obviously that won't cut it when it comes time for multiplayer.

Well, as far a single player, how would I insert the imp icon (and what color what I need to make it).

Well, you will have to convert the picture/icon into a Targa file because from what kryo said it seems it has to be a Targa image. (which can be done with that "Picture It" program thing or pretty much anything else more complex than paint lol.)

(by the way Thrawn its me Tom! I wanted to think of the Advent-ish name so I just came up with this lol.)

Well I tried it (I made it a targa file and then put it in the Racelogos.tga (I made it small and then put it next to that glove thing) and now all the faction icons in the game are white squares...

OMG! Theres no eraser tool in Picture it... Do I need to uninstall SoaSE.

What is this alpha channel?

Also, I uninstalled and now I'm trying to reinstall to my removable hard drive (F: , where I had it installed before) and it says that there isn't enough space in C: to install it! I don't get it! I'll try again tomorrow cuz tonight is a school night.
