Also, I uninstalled and now I'm trying to reinstall to my removable hard drive (F: , where I had it installed before) and it says that there isn't enough space in C: to install it! I don't get it!
Make sure you also set the Download folder in SDC's advanced settings to be on that drive if you don't have space on C (normally it will download the the temp folder under C:\Documents and Settings\Username).

cant see another reason it would download to the wrong place.
