As of the latest beta 2 release, we now have separate research stations for what used to be combat and empire that are now called military and civilian. But once you start research on each of the trees, aren't research on each of those two categories carried out by the two different type of stations? If so, why can't reserch on each category progress independently from one another, a research pending on the military tree should not interfere with the civilian research which I now have showing as on hold.
