Have you ever looked out your bedroom window just to look out it, no real purpose? You just see things, nothing particular, just things, you try not to think about anything, nothing. Even though you try no to notice anything you still notice things, the knot in the trunk of a tree, the different levels of grass, and it dawns on you, it's like a brick shithouse landing on your top paddock. An epiphany. Perfection is in the flaws.
This doesnt just apply to nature, this applies to everything. Humanity, religion, sexuality, mathamatics, sciences (in thier exceedingly endless amounts), love, and thought. I suppose we should approach each of these things individualy and see how they stack up to this odd little axiom (second definition as proposed by Webster's New World Dictionary).
Humanity...
Even at its base roots humanity in all its splendor, and grotesqueness is subsequently human, we are a flawed organisim. And as we are flawed so shall anything that we make or do be. Building structures towards the heavens, and yet somewhere within that design, a flaw. Make the perfect thing and it will be flawed. Some say we are a perfect being, capable of doing millions of unknown things, yet in the end there will always be one thing, that one flaw that will set us apart from perfection, yet raise us one step closer. That one thing is US. We build for a better future, a time of control, and yet one flaw that will destroy us, is that fact that we control nothing and some of us know this. We are flawed so much we are perfectly flawed. There are so many things that can destroy humanity as the human race knows it; Weather, cataclysms the world over, sudden astrological deviations of astral bodies, yet before anything like this will happen, the human error will come into play and we will destroy ourselves before anything. And yet the flaw of it is we will somehow reiterate ourselves again and again, perfection. The perfect never ending cycle. We are so perfect in our nature that we never learn from mistakes. And yet we think things among us are perfect in nature and belief...
Religion...
No matter what faith you believe, be it pagan in basis, or Judeo-Christian in basis, your religious beliefs are flawed. And yet to you they are perfect. "Religion is a structure to give structure where there is none, to explain occurrences where there is no explination" -Thomas Simpson. Lets look at the religions I made specific in the first sentence. In most pagan belief structures there is a goddess and then there is a god that is the consort of her, he is a GOD, yet in all his perfection as one, he is flawed, he is reborn and dies in a constant cycle, never ending. In J-C there are the prophets. There are in a manner godly, yet if they were not human in some form or fashion they would just be gods and they would not be perfect they would just be another god, and so to use they then become perfect. Jesus was a man, a god, a perfect being, yet to the father, he was just another part of himself. We gave him his perfection and yet he was flawed because he was in human form and with human form there is and will always be a flaw.
Sexuality...
Why is there such diversity in our sexuality as a global village? Because we are flawed and seek out those differences and that in itself creates the diversity. Our flawed nature is our differences and our learning. We seek out similarity and diversity, one flaw leads to another as one sexual experience leads to the next.
Mathamatics...
Unknown Variables. Need I say more.
Sciences...
Adaption. A step taken to eleminate a flaw to try and acheive perfection. Yet even in that flaw there lies perfection already. Even out most mundane creatures on this earth whether they are stationary or roaming migratory have thier own perfections, their on things that make them stand out among billion and trillions of creatures. Adn we are among them. Even in the science of astral bodies there is flaws that create perfections. Alignments that are in themselves perfections, created out of flaws no matter what they maybe. Comets, planets, stars, galaxies... all flawed creations yet so perfect that they lend themselves to create to be inhabited, just as this galaxy that which we live in is.
Love...
Something so flawed in humanity that when we feel it when we touch it when we know it its perfect yet unexplainable. There is no better explination for perfection in the flaws. Needs wants... all of it found here yet its all because of our human flaws that it is created to begin with.
Thought...
All things have flaws, even this mere explination is flawed as I would want it to be. Yet these flaws allow it to grow to become more.
And with these things said, I leave you the reader to decide, exactly where the perfection lies in the flaws that are in everything.
With my deepest regards to the humanity on this earth and all that will abound after I leave it, may you always find a flaw in something and know even then it is perfect.
