Things I Would Like To See

in beta 5 or release

in beta 5 or in the final release it would be nice to see:

1. moving planets
one thing that annoys me is that the planets are stationary. yes it would be hard to make planet movment simple but it could be a cool effect to add to the game.

2. Focus
in game with more than one sun there needs to be more distance between the two sun's planets. for example, u have a battle on a planet closer to another solar system. u try to zoom in on the action but u can't see ur ships icons. this makes it ridicuoulsy hard to command a succesful fleet.

Removed for the fact that it increases difficulty and increases CPU usage a lot. 5 stars multiplied by approximately 6-12 bodies per system. This used to be in, it was removed, and won't be returned.

You're probably just zoomed out too far. Click the planet once, then click the smart-zoom button. Tada! Much simpler.

This is a known bug with beta 4 and has been fixed already for the next release (whenever that is).

k i was also wondering if developers were going to make the explosions better. i like the capital ships exploding cause there is a nice boom and their is debris. with most explosions i'm watching the ship and boom! it just disapears, not debris no nothing

in the destruction animation you see debris parts, can't you? if these are actual polygonic object you might be able to have them stay for a couple of minutes. you be quite nice. if it doesn't stack into infinit I can't imagine this being a huge drain on computer resources, as you would rarely have more than say 10 to 15 capships dead at the same time. (remember I said they disappear after a few minutes and even in fairly large battles where both sides take losses there won't be many more capships destroyed in the same battle than the numbers I gave). not a top priority, but it would certainly be a welcome addition to the atmosphere.
