Hello;
1st - great game. I felt I deserved a small bonus for doing a good job at work this week so I picked it up on a whim. It's fun, though the pirates are kicking my ass, lol
2nd - I've noticed an oddity, I've had it happen in two games (TEC and Advent) and and while I can't "force it to happen" I seem to have figured out some of the circumstances underwhich it happens:
First there is a fleet consisting of one or more Battleships and several Frigates.
I tend to assign the fleet a # (YaY hot keys), so the fleet is group 1 or 2, etc....
I have sent the fleet to a star system where it take multiple jumps to reach the destination. Thus: X -> Y -> Z and the fleet has just arrived at Z
1 frigate (The Illuminator, or the Flack Frigate[TEC]) upon reaching the destination, will break off from the battle group. I noticed that it has the order "Phase Jump to System Y. The rest of the fleet is sitting idle in System Z, as it should be.
The firgate will fly to the edge of teh gravity well as if it would jump.
When it reaches the edge of th well, it will stop. In the Info card, the command will alternate from "Phase Jump to System Y" to nothing at a rate of about once per second.
You can interupt it, by giving it an attack or movement order, but once complete with the order, it will return to its previous wandering behavior.
I have 1.01. I figure this is being addressed or explained, but after a quick search I could not find anything related to it (frankly Ididn't know what else to call it)
Oh and What teh hell is a Space Pony?
