More Languages in the future?

Will there be more languages in the future except english?

Hi,

i saw that there is a file named "English.str" in the folder "String" which contains all english text used in the game. Are there any plans to bring other languages along with patches like german/french/spain and so on?

I live in germany and though i understand most of the captions used in the game, it would be nicer to play it in my own language. For me it wouldn't be necessary to have german voice output. But translated text would be nice!

I believe someone from Stardock mentioned that if a European publisher picks up the game, they'll localize it with different languages. Other than that, I don't believe there are any plans to do it.

Hmmm okay ... i'm working on a translation into german. Maybe it would be possible to take it into the game?

EDIT: Question to the developers! Are there any Umlauts like they appear in the german language (Ä, Ö, Ü) and other special charakters allowed? And can i test my own languagefile by replacing the existing one (English.str) without activating the ANTI-CHEAT function?
