Several of us at
Clan Imperial Guard have recently picked up the game and have been giving it a try. We've been in existance since August 15th, 1996 when we started as a professional Quake 1 and Warcraft 2 clan. Since then we've had a presence in some 14 games spanning RTS/FPS and MMORPG's. Since Empire at War was ultimately a disappointment and offered little competition, it is our hope that Sins will pan out to be that epic, Homeworld-esque game some of us have been craving for.
Over the years I have done audio commentary/play-by-play for RTS and FPS games on the net. Ive won awards for my work in Rome: Total War, Warcraft 3 and Dawn of War in the RTS genre. The reason I bring this up (other then to make myself feel important

) is to ask you, the community, is Sins a game worth that kind of attention?
I haven't used the replay system yet for battles but Im hoping some of you have had some experience with them. Is it a solid replay system that allows free movement, pausing and an easy format to download and apply to a folder? I imagine doing a live play-by-play of matches underway would be impossible as there is no observer mode and the game is played at a macro level seperate from battles. Also, are audio-replays and play-by-play a medium of entertainment you'd like to see in Sins? Im curious to hear.
In either case, look for us in the online lobby's. Stop on by the website and/or the forums and say hello, set up a match or 3
