Dual-Monitors disabled because of game.

So, I just got the game yesterday and after I installed it and rebooted my machine, somehow I was unable to do dual-monitor. What would happen was I would log-in to my account and then it would screw up the graphics completely looking like an NES game crash on both monitors. So after playing around with it, I noticed single monitor still works (both monitors function perfectly). I believe I also downloaded the update for the game as well (not sure if that matters, it might). My system specs are:

Intel Core 2 duo 1.86Ghz
Nvidia 7600 GS (latest driver: 169.21)
2Gb Ram
Monitors: 19" & 19" wide (1280x1024 & 1440x900 max resolutions)

Does anyone know anything about this?

yeah the game doesnt support dual monitors

This has nothing to do with his question.

I have no problems with this, I suggest you use the Windows shortcut rather than SDC to start the game and see if that works.

I can report not only that it does function running on one full-screen of a dual-monitor setup, but that the other monitor displays just fine, at least on my Nvidia 8800 GT.

My suspicion is you have a complicating dual-monitor configuration issue with either matching desktops or resolutions.

I am running dual monitors and I have no problems. The other monitor functions just fine while playing Sins. Sure would be cool if Sins supported dual monitors ala Supreme Commander.

Likewise, I'm running a dual monitor setup with Sins and it works fine (8800gtx). I run windowed to fill the whole screen usually, but full-screen works just as well. I'm not sure what's going on with yours :(

It would sound like you've got something else odd going on with your configuration--the game can't do anything to windows settings, particularly if you've just installed it and haven't even run it yet. I run 1680x1050+1280x1024 myself with no issue.

I think I may have worded the question wrong, but what I was trying to get at wasn't that I was playing the game dual-screen, but rather when I would log-in to my computer it would screw up the graphics before I could even do anything. Anyways, long story short, it messed up the Nvidia driver, so I re-installed it and now it works fine. Thanks for trying to help though!
