Runs Really Slow!

Specs inside

I just got this game recently and with every single graphical setting at bare minimum, I get an average of 11fps during game play. There must be something wrong as all my other games run well at medium/high graphics.

SPECS:
Pentium D @ 2.66GHZ (Dual-Core)
1024mb Ram
XFX GeForce 8600GT XXX 256mb
Integrated Sound
250gb HDD(Don't think this matters)

I have gotten the latest driver for everything and like I said earlier I can run other games fine. Source "based" games I can play on high gfx with average of 50-60fps... I was playing FEAR earlier tonight at 50fps very high gfx in an intense firefight. Please help me!

With that kind of rig, you should experience no problem running the game at its highest level of visual quality, especially with the example of the FPS you are getting in other recent games.

Have you tried with the "Bloom Effects" option disabled?

My own rig is far weaker than yours, and I get good FPS at the "highest" level of texture quality (with a few minor options disabled):

Pentium 4 (four-year old!) @ 2.80 GHz
1024 MB of RAM (not recent and fast)
GeForce 6800

Have your tried, outside of the game, to disable "V Synch" in the nVidia display-panel? (That's what I did.)

Perhaps some program in the background is interfering with Sins : close everything you can (and may) before launching. On Windows XP, I only keep the mandatory explorer.exe running, in the user-defined background programs.

Have you tried running the game in a lower resolution?

Ok I Forced VSync off in NTune... lemme close my progs and then give the game a shot.

EDIT: Works, thanks... I was just running the game at a constant 60fps with very high settings.
