logistical slots

I cant biuld anymore labs because there is no more logistical slots left, cant biuld any more ships, I have enough money, metal, crystal. when I attack another planet thay have 100's of ships, when I try to research it says it needs 6 military labs but I cant biuld them. Whats up with this?

Are you upgrading the logistical slots of the planets you colonize? Each planet starts with a set number but these can be upgraded. If you still find you are lacking in logistical slots, you need to colonize more planets or look at the planets you already have and see if there aren't any redundant structures (not every planet needs a frigate/capital ship yard, beacon, etc) and if you can scuttle something you don't really need to make room for those research stations.

In more general terms, the labs are cumulative throughout your empire. They don't all have to be in the system where your trying to build. If you're still on your first planet, Joe's right, you need to do some structure management.

Do you mean you've completely maxed out your fleet size research? That's a really big fleet, why can't you take the other guy?

Thanks for the answers, I now realize that each planet does have a fixed amount of spaces and that I had better get out and colonize more planets. Thanks agaim
