Try following the guide (Networking and SINS) that is linked-to from the "Technical FAQ" in the "Technical" forum.

Possible causes, based on the wealth of troubleshooting info your OP provides:

1. Your ISP is fitering for P2P (and since SINS is pure P2P) and is killing your connection.

2. Your ISP is generally flaky sometimes and dropping your connection.

3. You're using Wireless without the benefit of WMM (Wireless multi-media enhancement) which would allow for better wireless "streaming" performance and not allowing your wireless to go into standby mode.

4. A security software/firewall on your system is interfering.


With such little information the list is literally endless.
