There's no European publisher still, so I wouldn't count on it being in stores there anytime soon.

You can order it two ways through Stardock directly:

Download Only will get you the Collector's Edition goodies in digital format (music mp3s, pdfs) and you'll get your serial # and the ability to download the game as many times as you like. You can also back it up on a dvd if you want to.

Download + Disc will get you a CE box shipped to you with the music CD and the poster versions of other goodies. You'll also get the ability to download it while you wait for the box.

Stardock only charges in USD, so you'll get it for a steal with the conversion rate

Actually, Stardock only sells the CE until they run out, it's only $5 US pricier than you'd get it in a store, though. Chances are what you're seeing is it

You'd be emailed your registration info, and use Stardock Central (their software distribution program) to download it. Lots of people across the pond got great speeds from it, and the download itself is about ~900mb

I'm in the UK, it took approx 1hr40mins from purchase to play using a ~2mb/s connection

i'd used Stardock Central before (simple program that handles the serial, download and future updates) though so add another 20mins or so for that.
