How can you tell if Auto join fleet is enabled? Whenever I try to create fleets they seem to do whatever they want. I usually create a fleet and then assign ctrl(#) to it. Then the next thing I know ships just start joining the fleet. In fact if I move out system with the current fleet to start forming a new fleet the next thing I know there are ships jumping around to catch up with the first fleet. So what am I doing wrong?

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. I'm loving this game but some of the glitches (which I'm sure is just me) are really irritating.
