Impulse Reporting Different Version than SDC

I have noticed that SDC is reporting V1.04.022 and Impulse is reporting V1.04.025.

I know Impulse is beta or something like that but just wondering what's up?

Also, I used to be takin to the website download page when I clicked "Download Updates" from the in game menu. Now it opens Impulse. Is is suppose to do that?

I would like to get back to that downloads webpage. It had my soundtrack download and art download for my CE. Or can you download that stuff through Impulse or SDC?

That's normal, the last 3 digits of the version number are for internal use only and do not affect the game in any way.

The other stuff, I don't know.

The downloads page you are speaking about is here:

The "Download Updates" button in Sins simply calls an "Impulse.exe" file in your Sins installation folder. If you do not have Impulse installed, it will call up the web page I listed above. If you do have Impulse installed, then it links to the Impulse executable, and brings that up.

As of now you the only option for downloading the pdfs and music files (for CE customers) is from the web site I listed above.
