Remove the "Quit" Button - petition

Hi,

Please remove this senseless button. I really dont understand why u even put it in the game.

If you play a game. there are just two options: win or loose. So why did you put in the quit button

in age of empires 3 they made it right. just a surrender button. and game starts counting after it ran 2 minutes. Yeah maybe someone in your team drops after that time, but thats just bad luck

noone ever surrenders, and stats means nothing now.

I really dont get it. Never saw any other online multiplayer game with a quit button, at least not one, where u dont get a loss when u press it. The only explanation i got is, that u knew how crappy this game works multiplayer and u put that button in, that people dont get too pissed about their bad stats.

Really sins people: Think about it. The button makes no sense and also takes away the sense of the stats

Here's the problem. Folks don't want to take a loss when they feel that they didn't do anything to merit taking a loss.

What happens if you're playing a 3v3 and the other two players on your team get minidumps two minutes into the game making it a 3v1 and two AI? Should you have to take a loss for that?

What happens if you're playing a 3v3 and you learn that the other two guys on your team are noobs and the three players on the other team are elite clanners who are on voice comm; the teams were stacked from the beginning. Yeah, you were beaten but do you really want to take a loss for what you regard as being an illegitimate match?

Also, as things stand now, often the weakest players end up leaving first leaving the strongest and best player on the team as the last man standing (who probably didn't do much to earn the loss) to take the loss. Do you really think you deserve the loss for that?

I think that a better system would be to have the game just count the number of wins or just have the game count the total number of games played (and to heck with the win-loss records).

Removing the Quit Button just creates more problems and doesnt really solve any of the underlying problems of quitting.

The problems it creates is that there are valid reasons why someone needs to quit a game. Its unfair if someone wants to save and continue a game another day. Everyone has to quit. Should they get a loss everytime they want a game to be saved for another day.

The better solution would be to remove the win/loss stats , and make Rank Base on In-Game time spent. Stay in the game ...build your rank

I like the ingame rank thingy.

About the button: Why not change surrender / quit into quit game / quit to desktop.
I really like to have one button to directly quit Sins itself and not only the current game I'm in (like StarCraft and WarCraft offer it).

dont care bout stats... my buds are like.. woow dude, thats awesome, how'd u get that.....

well, we draw alot, i hate "owning or winnig" from nice people, so i offer them draws... as most of our clan does

we play 4 fun not 4 stats

i do understand u think the system = screwed.. cuase it is,

all u can do about it now is not 2 judge people for their ranking
people even make dummy account or "smurfs" just 2 able 2 play a normal game

as am i, im working with 3 acc now,

1 seriously suckage 1 (maake it a 300 games, 200 losses, 2 wins acc

2 normal acc, 50 games.. 15 wins 15 losses

3 "wow dude howcha do that" acc...

if i play with 1 im thrown out of i belong 2 the host's team
i i play with 2 theres a 90% chance they'll accept me
if i play with 3 i'm either allied 2 the hosts or thrown out

it sucks, dont judge people by their ranks, im not that good.. i play 4 fun, wich allowed me to get a good acc amongst Friends, other then rivals

I call for the In-game hours played stat , with rank badges that reflect how many hours you have played.

In an instant you solve many problems...

Firstly , someone who is losing might aswell stay in the game and fight to the death because he is still building up his rank.

Secondly , insta-wins will become pointless

Thirdly , all those re-host games wont build up your stats , like they are falsely doing now.

How about they just put "# of Quits" in the rankings. If you see a player with lots of quits, odds are, they are one of those "quit 1 second after I see it might not be an easy and quick win" type player.
