1. Please understand, forwarding ports means going from the EXTERNAL (WAN) side of your router to the INTERNAL (LAN) side. Therefore, forwarding a couple of ports cannot cause ANYTHING to change on the switch (LAN) side.

2. It's quite obvious that you're having a "network" issue. IE. You've given your PC an IP which isn't part of the same network ID, or you've given one or more PC's an incorrect subnet, or you've ...... (any number of things which have nothing to do with SINS, WIC or your router, just your network config on your PC's)

Re-configure your network (LAN), this might be the time to read up on proper LAN configuration and correct subnetting. Such information comes in handy at the darndest of times!

If you have all AV, firewalls, etc. turned off anyway.....you should be able to PING the IP of the other systems on the LAN, if you don't get a response that should tell you where to start!

Of course, if by saying "completely offline" you simply meant offline from ICO, and you're still using your internet connection to get to the other system (therefore not on a LAN) your port-forwarding still comes in to play, and must be pointed to the correct IP.

ISP's have been known to spot WiC and SINS traffic as P2P and interfere at their choosing. I ran into this issue alot with the people I was helping for World in Conflict (I'm assuming you've read my sticky on the WiC forums........I do indicate that certain ISP's have caused nothing but pain for would-be WiC hosters)
