Can anyone help me out, my question is - in 3dmax what are nulls known as ? i have 3dmax and the xsi mod tool but i dont know what the null are known as within 3dmax

The equivalent in 3ds Max to nulls is the dummy object under helpers.

To find it simply click on the create tab, then underneath the tabs select the Helpers box and then select Dummy from the Object Type list.
