help with mods

yes i know this has been asked before....but that solution didnt work

i have downloaded the "sins plus" mod and put it in the correct folder but when i go into the game nothing shows up in the mods section. i am wondering what to do... i really like this mod

What folder, exactly, and what version of the game to you have?

its the mods folder (right path and everything) and i have V 1.05

Are you sure you placed it in:

If you have Vista:
C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods

If you have Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods

? If the game is up to date, the only reason it should not appear in the list is if it is not properly placed in that location.

I cant find it (but i tried making one ;ast nightwhen i put AppData in my username area, it dissapears, i can't find it! I slammed my head twice onto the keyboard after attempting to make an "AppData" Folder 10 times.

You don't make it, it's already there and hidden by windows. To unhide it, go to Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View and set yourself to view hidden files and folders.
