Minidump when enabling almost any mod..

Was running the game in Vista previously, everything worked great, never a single crash.
Now in XP i cant even enable any mod (some work, like bailwhatshisname graphical mod) without getting a minidump when trying to enable them.. And to think people bash Vista for being crashy.. lol

Tried with the exact same drivers as i used in vista, and with 2 newer ones, same issue. Tried in a lower res, same issue. Its really driving me nuts, i was looking forward to playing this with the 7 deadly sins mod again this weekend

core 2 duo e6600, 8800GTS, xp 32bit, 4gb ram, 6gb virtual mem
175.16 and up, no difference. Yes, using the 1.05 patch. Yes the mods ive tried are 1.05 compatible etc etc, yes the right mod folder path etc
