Sins of a Solar Empire Autorun/Launcher Crashes

The launcher and even the autorun on the CD crashes giving this error.

"Sins of a Solar Empire Autorun/Launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

It would be good if someone could help me

There are a number of reasons the launcher might have problems (mainly oversensitive antivirus programs). In any case though, you can run setup.exe off the disc directly to install, and change the shortcut for the game to point directly at Sins of a Solar Empire.exe instead of the launcher.

Thanks. I already realised this just after I finished typing but meh. GREAT GAME.

I have a pc, P4 3.12ghz, 7600GT (AGP) 1gb ram and the game runs silky smooth on the highest settings and resolution WITH AA enabled. Very cool.

Love this game, loved Master of Orion and Imperium Galactica, this is another awesome game.
