Just a poor noob question

AHHHHH! My maps will show up in my mod file and I am able to enable them, however they don't show up anywhere in my maps list when I want to play. Have them in both the galaxy and mods files in folders. V1.05 is making me crazy!

Is the version set to 1 rather than 0 in the map files?

map version is set to 1, could this little bug be the bain of all my probs?

checked the version its set to 1, changed to 0, still no effect. Yesterday I actually got one of my maps to show up in the custom game file however all it said was "string not found" for the name. Is this where modded maps are supposed to show up so you can play? I entered into it and it gave me a quick defeat (no planets etc.)I put a test file in and it showed up in mods list but would did not show up anywhere in my single player menu. I didn't mod anything from notepad, just galaxy forge. The game version is 1.5. Anybody know what I'm missing here? Also do I need the mod map in just the mod folder or the galaxy folder also? Spanks

Duh... had the map in the wrong folder. Moved her over to the Sins install galaxy file and now all is well. Many thanks K, now I can spend countless hours zoning out.

do you know what i did wrong because i put the map thing in galaxy folder but when i run it it immedeatley says i lost and i dont know what to do, sorry to get off subject

You need to put it in the Galaxy folder in the Sins install path, not the user path. Galaxy Forge maps need to be along with all the other game maps.
