Network Error

disconnected from Ironclad Onlie

Can anyone please help me.

I have been trying to play this game online for two months now with very limited success.

I bought the digital download through Stardock Central and installed it. It started fine and I created my account. I logged in and played with no problems. Once I logged out I couldn't get back in as it kept saying I was already logged in.  The lovely Josie from Ironclad online told me it was a known bug and would be fixed in patch 1.5. In the meantime every time I played online I had to wait three or four days for Ironclad to play with my account to let me back in. ( fout account resets)

So patch 1.5 comes out, I update and log in...great....I play one game and log out. Now every time I try to log back in I get  " Network Error...disconnected from Ironclad Online" I am running an orange Livebox wireless router and have been into the security settings and disabled the internal firewall. I also run windows Live onecare and have disabled the firewall on that...Still no joy

I am now on the verge of giving up with this game, and thats a shame as I am part of a gaming clan who all enjoy playing this game.

Try performing a trace to the ICO IP address right after it happens to check for a bad "hop" along the way.

If you actually get logged-in to ICO again do the following after you're logged in:

1. Alt-tab

2. Open the command-prompt (start >> run >> cmd >> enter)

3. At the prompt type "netstat -a" and then hit "enter" (this will give you a list of all active connections to/from your system

4. Note ICO's IP (I'm remembering it as 38.98.152.153, but I could have it wrong since I'm posting from one of my notebooks and don't have SINS installed here...)

5. Back at the command-prompt type "tracert xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" (the x's being ICO's IP address) , this will run a trace to ICO and let you see if there is a "bad hop" (high latency) somewhere along the way.

thanks,
