Ok none of my custom maps that I download are showing up in game, and I put them in the right folder, this I'm sure. Do I have to put them in the documents and settings folder, or do I just need to download something?

I'm sure this was asked before but I am quite lost there.

What version is your game and what version are the maps? (open them up with notepad and see the version number at the top)

(you put the maps in the game's galaxy directory, not the one in the user files in case you were actualy unsure )

Game v1.05, map version, who the hell knows? the files are invisible, unfindable, unclickable, unavailable TO open with note pad. The ONLY way they can be accessed period is with the forge tool map maker program. It's version is the same v1.05. They are saved in the sins\galaxy path and do not show up with explorer, even with all explorer settings set to reveal/show all types of files. The windows file search engineer says its there, but can't see it, and can not find it when I click on the map after the file search finds it. It gives the error file not found, verifying path and file exists..
