At various times of the day or night there will be more or less players online (in ICO).
1. Once a game is started, it and the players in it are removed from the list in ICO (this was added in a patch as leaving the games listed and the players shown in ICO was too confusiong for new players)
2. If people have configured their networks properly then when they host a game, people will be able to join. As of right now there are two types of people who can't host games. Those who
can't follow my instructions (because they're at a university dorm etc.) or
won't follow them (because they refuse to invest some time/effort in understanding the steps

)
3. Patch 1.1 will introduce new optional netcode that will enable everyone to be able to host without the need to configure their networks/routers. This patch is however an undetermined length of time away, with the
beta for this patch beginning soon.
4. In the meantime, if you haven't found it already.....please download/read and follow the steps in my SINS-specific networking guide (
Networking and SINS) which can be found linked-to from under the GREEN writing in the OP of
this thread.
If you have issues following the steps in my guide I'll be glad to take you through the steps via my TeamSpeak server (provided you've already downloaded and at least attempted to follow the guide on your own

I'm not here to
read the guide to anyone like a bedtime story....hehe).
thanks,
the Monk
