basic gameplay tutorial

Hi,

    i'm new to this game and i just started the tutorial. This may sound stupid but on the basic gameplay tutorial, i cant seem to investigate the planet. I mean, i can get the ships to the planet but they stop at an invisible wall and cant get past it to the planet. Will someone help me, and just tell me what to do? It's hard enough knowing i got stuck on a tutorial.

I just ran through the tutorial to try and figure out what it is your getting at, I think your stuck at the point where it tells you to investigate the grayed out new planet. Not the one your at, you don't go to the planets in this game, just to the gravity wells. My suggestion is start over on the tutorial, go slowly and carefully read each instruction when it comes up. Your getting confused because there is alot of info condensed into a short amount of time, and its just not intuitive for you.
