Resolution problems.

I instaled the demo for this game and after doing so my resolution settings on my computer have not been working correctly. I am only able to pick from 3 different resolution setting when i should be able to pick from at least 6. I have tried virus scans, reinstaling drivers, and a system restore and none of them have worked. When I boot in safe mode the other resolution settings are visable but not when I go back to regular windows mode. I have called windows tech support and posted on two different tech websites without any real help.

As you can see the primary monitor resolution is 1024X768 when it should be like 1600 by something.

I have a viewsonic VG2230wm Monitor. Please help me.

Do you have the actual monitor driver installed, or the generic windows one? Might be something to try.

Never heard of Sins messing up resolutions outside of the game..

Could it be that your driver may have been allowing you to choose "unsupported" resolutions before and maybe now got updated to disallow said resolutions?

I have instaled the monitor driver. It is not the generic monitor driver. The monitor supports 1680 x 1050.

Not sure what to tell you.. you can try emailing [email protected] with your problem and specs. They answer pretty quickly generally. They might have an idea :x
