forming a control group

ctrl + 1 screwy

Hi,

I'm running the tutorials and I'm at the section dealing with forming control groups. For some reason when I press ctrl + 1 to form a control group 1 it does not let me do it. If i go to keyboard settings and press ctrl+1 it shows up in the box as ctrl + ctrl. Does anyone know what I need to do to correct this problem? I'm assuming it is not a problem related to the game but to my keyboard software. I am using a microsoft mouse/keyboard combo (Microsoft wireless optical desktop receiver 2.0a, microsoft wireless natural multimedia keyboard and microsoft intellimouse explorer 2.0).

Uhm... try reinstalling any sofware/drivers/etc. that came with the keyboard.

Just tried that but it still is the same problem

I've not seen that before. Unless you can somehow reassign keys or somebody else has an answer, I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer.
