Hi there!

I just finished playing the new BETA as TEC on a medium random map and I have noticed a few minor issues that I thought I would post. I'd first like to say, however that I am greatly impressed with the BETA! I love the new textures and the new look of the interface! I easily adapted to the changes and think you deserve a round of applause!  

Ok, here are the few issues I found:

-When I colonize a planet/asteriod, I get the message saying I have found a artifact before I have even explored the planet. I still have to explore it to get the artifact and I assume the effect, but it tells me exactly what the artifact is and that I have aquired it the second I colonize.

-This may just be me, but I've noticed that damage seems to rise much slower than before and that it updates on the ship info hover-over pop-up interestingly slowly. If the damage system was altered and this was intentional, I'm not particularily fond of it, however I think I could adapt to it.

-Lastly, all of the other races I'm against have red as their race color which I assume is because they are my enemies, however I liked it better when each race had their own color even if they were currently my enemy.
