One of my friends made an account and now found out the email they registered it to can't be accessed. Therefore he can't get updates or play online

The account name was snipermage, I hope someone can solve this problem so we can play online. Are you aloud more than one account per cd key or is there any way his account can be canceled so he can make a new one?

edit: also, I hope it's not against the rules because I let him download the patch using my account. If you check the logs if this site has them you will see the same ip that made the snipermage account with his cd key downloading the patch with my account. I'm really confused right now
