Bksabath,
I respond to your posts and you keep posting the same things: "Breach of trade description acts.... " etc. etc.
1. In game-version 1.0 to 1.05 (the original netcode) people do need to forward the traffic on two ports to their gaming PC if they wish to "host" games of SINS. As I've stated to you numerous times now a step-by-step I wrote on the subject back in Feb can be found here in the OP linked-to right under the GREEN writing!
2. If a person doesn't want to "forward ports" etc. they can use IMPULSE (www.impulsedriven.com ) which will be required to update SINS past version 1.05 to update to the latest BETA (version 1.095) wich uses (the new netcode) ALLOY and "tunnels" past all routers etc. With version 1.1 BETA (v1.095) there is no need for using my guide (port-forwarding etc.).
Bksabath, I would say that the DEVS are doing everything they can to make it so everyone CAN in fact "host" games without having to learn a little something first. Out of the box and up unitl game version 1.05 the person needs to forward traffic on a couple of ports (there is tons of info on the internet incl. my step-by-step to show them exactly how to do that). Now with the 1.1 beta they won't have to do anything except click "host".
Now can you stop talking about some stupid law-suit and start reading my replies to your posts please?
thanks,
the Monk
