Love this game#!

Been playing it for months since I digitially downloaded it from stardock centrel when it was first released.

The game stabilty is perfect, gameplay is smoothest game ive ever played.   Played a few mods on it very creative and tons more depth to be had with future additions.   Recently intalled latest patch 1.5 still perfect

Then my problem

Found a star trek mod for the game, again perfect I half expected it not to be considering the nature of mods.   Played it for about a week or two.. The last couple of days I wanted to play the original again so I deselected the mod in the menu.. BAM crash minidump and BAM CTD every fkin time I try to open it again.

Fine I'll reinstall it and wont uncheck the mod again I'll just deselect it from loading after restart... IF ONLY

Respect to the folks who are pioneering the digital distribution of the game. However stardock central software has along way to go..

Its difficult to uninstall the game completely for starters.. then after about a thousand reboots I try to find sins again to install it and the bloody thing makes me download it again..  Fine ive got work soon and i can wait.. got home installed it and the bloody thing still CTD because it didnt completely remove itself still got settings in the documents and settings folder ffs!

Insult to injury it makes me download the 900mb badboy again.. thank god for 1500kb download rate...  SORT IT OUT STARDOCK!

Fingers crossed my 2nd attempt to reinstall it goes alright.

P.s. sorry for being blunt obviously its a user problem I should of found out a way to backup the installation and make a hardcopy.
