Me and my buddy bought Sins, played vs the computers to learn the ropes, and loved it!
We anxiously and excitedly tried our hand at 2v2. We generally enjoy the 2v2 type games for cooperative play, however, sins doesn't seem to be built for that kind of gameplay in mind.
it seems like one guy always gets double teamed, and the maps are so big, and fleets move around so slow, that you can't react fast enough to help your ally. It takes like 15 minutes to jump across the galaxy to his base if he suddenly needs your help.
Are we playing from the wrong perspective? We try to be aggressive early, but the game either ends up as two 1v1s, or a 2v1, with the other player too far away to do anything.
