Hi,

      I'm Teal, i have had your game now for about 4 months, it is very very good, but i have a small problem recently that happened after my machine was corrupted with spyware and i had to re-install everything. I have an acer system running vista home premium, a dual core 1.8 mhz intel processor with 3gb of memory and a 256mb Nvidia Geforce 7100 video card.

After the Windows re-install i installed and updated the disk version, i am guessing it is 1.04 because i originally updated with the 1.05 patch after install and then the 1.1 and 1.11 and 1.12 versions. Then downloaded and installed the beta for Entrenchment and it ran well originally. This time i installed the game and went to impulse and downloaded the 1.12 update and then the Entrenchement beta. But was recieving errors even though the game would run.

So, i thought, okie, i missed the 1.05 patch this time, maybe that is why. I looked in the string folder and saw a string line count of 2720 ??  5720??  But not the 5744 that i believe was there after the proper 1.04, 1.05, 1,1, 1.11, 1.12 and then Entrenchment install sequence.

The crux of my difficulty is this: After uninstalling and attempting to re-install the game, i get an error when it reaches the ogg files, saying it cant read the file off the cd. I looked at the cd and it looks clean. But i tried to be careful and wipe it off anyway, and tried the install again. Same error in the same place. Apparently there is a scratch or other unseen problem when i reach that part of the disk that i cant visually see.

At this point i am wondering how i can possibly get back to square one with a good install and update and get back into the game. 

Is is possible to exchange my cd, package, jacket and all with cd key on the sticky inside the cover for a workable cd? Or since it has been 4 months, will Walmart even consider replacing the defective disk for a non-defective one?  Of course it is not your fault that my disk is getting errors, i try to handle it as little as possible and put it back in the case when i am not trying to re-install, which up til now, was only perhaps two or three times, but since the errors i have tried three more times in a row with no success.

I am sorry to be a bother and really hope i am not asking something that is unreasonable or something to make you think that i dont appreciate everything you have already done with making an interesting game and making the updates through Impulse easy and quick. But i am hoping that perhaps you could help me in this, as of this point i dont really know what to do, except buy the game again, or to try to exchange it at Walmart.
