Hi, I own the following system:

MSI K9A2 CF-F V2

Athlon 64 X2 +5200 @3.0Ghz

2 x OCZ Platinum 2GB DDR2 1066 @ 800Mhz

WD 320GB SATA II HD

MSI GeForce 9600GT OC @ 790/1900/1000

Windows XP SP3, as clean of spyware as is possible, disk defragged, bla bla bla

My problem is: playing against the PC on huge multi star maps the game keeps getting slower and slower until it becomes... lets not say unplayable because that would be a lie, the game just becomes unenjoyable. I have noticed that if I press pause the FPS automatically go back to enjoyable values. Changing graphical settings doesn't change much, so I'm led to belive its being limited by core speed. Just what processor speed is required to be able to play the game without this happening?
