I've run into several issues while playing a game with my friend who is also beta testing. The issues include the following.
Pirate Base
- We assaulted the pirate base in the system we had a foothold in and I finally took it over. My friend 10 minutes later asked me if I was going to destroy the pirate base and looking on my screen I already did, captured it, and even upgraded the planet. The odd thing was, my friend had the highest bounty on him, had pirates spawn in my pirate sector, and attacked him. I on the other hand could not see any of the pirates that spawned or the ensuing battle. Eventually, he came in and was able to take the pirate planet while I already owned it.
- It showed that I owned it on my screen and that he owned it on his.
- I built defense around it to see what would happen and the defense showed up as owned as mine on my screen but came up as his on his screen.
Mines and Starbases
Another issue we ran into is the fact that I'd attack a sector and clear it out. My friend would look at the sector as well and still notice that I am attacking a Starbase or structure that was not on my screen. On my screen, my ships were just idling but on his they were flying all over the sector clearing out stations that I could not see.
On another sector, I ran into a huge minefield as well as a star base. My friend glanced at my sector and could not see any of the mines or the starbase.
Again, my friend made an attack and I saw a starbase in the sector he was attacking and yet he did not see anything.
We also built a starbase each at our main star for defense. We built hangar bays in the stations to launch bombers. I could see his bombers attacking the enemy but he could not see mine.
Has this issue been seen before? Or are we the unlucky people to run into this?
