I haven't seen any mention of this elsewhere, so forgive me if this has already been discussed. When a group of ships jump into a gravity well in which mines are present, the ships' AI doesn't seem to be able to recognise their existence - despite my knowing where the mines are, my fleets will happily fly straight through hundreds of mines in a suicidal attempt to travel directly to their destination. This sometimes happens immediately after jumping into a new gravity well even without my having given any move orders. Their behaviour seems to be exactly the same as it was prior to the introduction of mines in Entrenchment - in other words, the ship AI hasn't been updated to take into account the presence of mines. The pracitcal upshot is that a ridiculous degree of micro-management is required whenever you jump into a new system in order to prevent your ships killing themselves. This seems odd.
