SoaSE Xfire group

I just started a group in xfire for SoaSE so you can find other members in group who are playing. To join go here. If you do not currently have xfire i recommend downloading it here. It takes very few resources up on your computer so I would not worry about that.

Through xfire we can also organize events if wanted, or at the very least send a quick message to an online memer to see if they want to play. It also will keep track of all the games you have played which is a nice feature.

So hopefully I start to see some people sign up to join. It may say to leave a few words but just click for invite and I'll accept those who want to join.

With xfire you can have it up at all times without being in game, and it doesn't slow comp down, so you can see if anyone wants to play anytime.

Why not use IRC (Internet Relay Chat)?  You can find channels here:

SERVER:  irc.Stardock.com   CHANNEL:  #sins

SERVER:  irc.GameRadius.net  CHANNEL:  #sins

I will stick with X-Fire

Of course, any option is good one, but personally I always was in favour of X Fire over any other mean.

It kinda evolves all the time while other options (like IRC) is stuck in the same spot for last decade or so...

Just my 2 cents...

But if you want to play, you open Sins and wait in the ICO lobby. Since there are more players there, you would get a game sooner. And if you weren't looking to play, not having Sins open is not really an issue...

feel free not to join if you dont want to. I for one dont wanna open sins to sit in lobby wating for someone to start a match that I would want to play in. Id rather be doing work or something and send a few messages to see what we want to play rather than alt tab over and over in the sins lobby trying not to miss a match or a friend online.

also, sometimes i may be playing another game alone, people can check and still ask if i want to mp, and then maybe ill join

so, as i said, feel free to join

 

as for IRC, i agree with nephilim, it doesn't allow as much as xfire

I've tried X-Fire and I still think IRC is superior as far as being able to handle large group chat goes.  I've also never heard of such a thing as a PUG match bot program (to organize 5-v-5 matches) running in X-Fire.

IRC may be good for chat, but its xfire is superior when ti comes to games cause you can message those in game and out. Once in game then Id stick to game chat or get on someones vent
