[bug] wormholes and fleet supply

Been a while since I've been around so I looked through the recent posts and didn't see anything so here goes:

1. I was playing the Ancient Gifts map as TEC and my ships were all able to use wormholes before the reasearch was finished.

2. This is very minor: In the fleet supply area, if you hover the mouse over your available fleet supply, and you have any ships queued up, the supply that those ships require is not correctly represented.

I am pretty sure that ancient gifts is meant to be that way -- everyone begins with wormhole research completed --that is the 'ancient gift'. Others, correct me if I am wrong.

the_only_normal_1 is correct. Every home planet has an artifact that allows wormhole travel. This was bugged before 1.1 were there were no artifacts and you had to research to use wormholes.

never noticed the other will check and see. I love that map especially with entrenchment

In that case, the bug is that I was still able to reasearch wormhole travel i guess

Actually no. It is an artifact that allows wormhole travel. This has no bearing at all on research. The artifact is normally a random find during game. This map supplies it to you as a gift, hence the name Ancient Gifts. The research is part of the normal game and is not a bug.

the fleet supply issue i also have noticed, but it only happens while ships are queued so I just ignore it  & think it is a minor glitch in this excelent game

i think you wrong its not an bug to enter wormholes without the research thats because every player in that map begins with an artifect that alows you to enter wormholes
