[Suggestion] Team start in same solar system

I had this idea in my head for a while and I was wondering is there any way to implement an option on larger multi-solar system maps that teams start off together in the same solar system or in single star on the same side of the map.

+1 here too... I love Random maps, but my friend and I have been forced into playing the pre-mades with the starting positions close to one another

It bugs me each time that team positions can't be set properly. It would integrate nicely with the diplomacy mico addon *hinthint*

You should have searched the forums before making a new thread on this.  This idea is over a year old.

yea, seems a sinple thing to add.  And playing team games would be much eaiser.  It shouldnt need to be part of another expantion, most (if not all) strategy games let you place your teams for the first eddition.

How about just a larger map choice with pre-set ones, I mean there's bearly any maps officaly as it is, wouldnt be hard to offically put in some Top-choice fan made maps, so everyone could play instead of having to talk to them, have them send them the maps ahead of time.

 

As it is right now, Me and my friends only play 3 maps or so, Since random, or other maps dont put us together in 1 star without a badguy to ruin it.

I play Sins either SP or coop with a friend and I'm so tired of trying to play coop where we never hook up till the very end when we're mopping up.

I really see no benefit to buying entrenchment when this feature of being able to co-locate teams isn't implemented.

 

So +1 to OP...and -1 to Sins for not implementing this feature yet after how long?

I don't know where to put this so but this is a more general sugggestion, enable a mute all sounds button, because some of us hate having to turn off all the sounds in the game, and going thrun all 4. I know there will people will be like mute ur speaker, but what if i want to listen to other music?

I would also love to see this implemented, me and my brother play together a lot and we always spend a while restarting over and over until we're in the same star system.
