IF pirates are still active and you ever had any bounty placed on you, your wells will always be attacked and those whit a higher bounty ignored.
Even after all bounty is depleted I have had wave after wave of pirate raids against my empire this last game, even continuing after their well was destroyed. While it may of been a lost raid, hidden somewhere around the sun, it means it took a path that required 4 extra wells to traverse through, from the pirate well.
As for knowing they only come for the PC, I had the intended target surrounded with fleets, for a pirate raid to hit it, it had to come through my wells. My bounty was 270, theirs was 10k, yet not a single pirate raider even went in the direction of the AI (I controlled both side paths off the pirate well, though neither of those worlds were attacked, just one further into the system, through 3 AI players to get to me.)
Another glitch, or maybe intended code but an annoyance is the instant priority of siegecraft for SC. It's not an issue comming into a well, or for defending a well, but when your entire SC group runs off of a cap ship just because a lone siege come in the opposite side of the well (wasn't even the AI I was fighting), it can get frustrating to have to "chase" them down and re-target, realising the cap just got a boost and it will be another min or more before it goes down.
The pirates are manageable, but an annoyance, the SC to siege can be a major source of abuse if it happens in PvP, keep a siege back to jump in to distract SC from time to time, disrupting a players SC attacks, even luring said SC over a flack barrage.
FInally, maybe no one wanted to buy anything, every time I've played entrenchment, but there is zero movement of ore or mineral placed in the black market. Even if I drop the price down to 2.0 and have 10k for "sale", none is bought, no matter the need by AI's. I don't know if this is just unique to me or if it has happened to others, but putting it and the above out as fyi.
