Game Crashing

I bout the game lasty year and began to play it, it's great BTW, unfortunately recently the game plays fine for 10-20 mins then begins to gat really laged (even if I just leave it on the main menu). Please help.

 

Specs. 

2.52 GHz processor (pentium 4)

2 GB RAM

128MB (256MB) Graphics Card

OS Vista 32

Doesnt matter anymore, I didnt have the newest drivers installed, now it runs smoothly again.
