I don't know if this is supposed to be in the game or if it's an accident to be honest. And it is kinda minimal, anyway. I usually play TEC, Well always actually. i'll get round to mastering the other 2 races someday. and i've noticed that if you have 5 fully experienced cap ships and 1 that is on say level 1. ALL ships still get the experience points for destroying other craft. so, if you destroy a starbase worth 400 experience points, instead of going to the only CAP ship that needs them, they get split up between all ships there including the ones that are already fully ranked up. Even though when they reach the highest rank the experience points dissappear from the unit info window, i was watching and worked out that it matches up perfectly every time with the experience to ship ratio in the grav well.I understand that as all ships are there then yes they would all get some experience from it. But if they are already at the highest experience level then all they are doing is making it difficult/take a long time to rank up the level one ship. Like i said, this is really minor, and if it never gets changed then i really don't mind. This game is brilliant in soooo many ways.
P.S I apologise if this has already been posted and i did have a look but didn't see this BUG (if you could call it that) anywhere. And sorry DEVS if this is a deliberate choice.
