Hi,
The tiny change I suggest is locking the pointer whenever you hold the right mouse button.
Whenever someone wants to turn the camera around by holding the RMB and moving the mouse, the cursor follows the mouse as usual. When the person is satisfied with the angle of vision, he releases the right mouse button.
The problem is that when you release the RMB, the game treats it like a 'Click' wherever the mouse pointer is located at the moment.
This caused a lot of funny moments for me, like:
- using phase missile swarm on my Vulkoras with no targets in sight, because as I was panning my view the cursor ended up on PMS button
- spending 250 credits on bounty or selling 100 crystal, cause the pointer happened to land on the mini-underground window
- quitting the game. I was checking interface options and panning the background view to see what changed, cause there are no tooltips in the menu (which would be very nice too, some options' names don't tell me whack about what they do). So as I was whirling the planet in the background to see if it looks different, my pointer ended on "Quit" button and my game closed when I released RMB.
It would be cool if the pointer was locked in place when the user is adjusting vision with a RMB hold.
Or maybe change it so releasing the RMB doesn't count as a click.
