I think they are missing little guys in this game.  I want to swarm enemies with little guys like peasant rush in Praetorians.  Scouts in this game is too weak, they are for scouting and detecting mines only.  I want a ship about the same size as scouts but for combat purpose.  Won't light frigate do?  They cost a bit much not to mention the 4-6 slot they take up.  Starcraft has zerglings and C&C has Combat bikes.

Oh yeah, SCV rush was funny and a good tactic for some maps.

Actually, rushing with scouts to kill constructors (preventing key buildings like labs from going up) is a very viable strategy.

I always hated the swarms, even when I used the strategy myself. Always a pain in the ass to fight off, and they just take the fun out of a fight if you watch your most powerful units get taken down by the pathetic things

And if you're TEC you can destroy all of the building they've already built as well (maybe advent too though its harder to pull off and not as efficient).

I rarely use those rush tactics, but I would like to see a game with more options.  C&C and Starcraft has a lot of those harass tactics.  A fodder class would be nice.

Yes it seem unfair when your Siege tanks or Dragoons get taken down by Zerglings, but that is part of the game.

if you had to pick ONE race to get a swarm tactic unit, whom would it be?

meaning, whom would it fit best, not your favorite.

Advent all the way, especially if they had kamikazi mode

in my mod i have "sentient torpedoes" so i would not put a kamikaze mode on these since the torps wipe things out pretty fast

Why not all three?  That would make it vanilla, oh well.
