[UI Request] Mass activation of special abilities

Just as you can hit alt+click to select all the units of the same type, I'd like to be able to hit alt+click on an ability and have all units with that ability activate them at once. This would include the same behavior for right click setting autocasts - at the moment, it's inconsistent.

I find it an eternal bugbear of the special abilities that you have to either leave them on autocast, or trigger them individually - getting a pack of Kodiaks to Intercept as a group, or even a pair of Kols to fire off their flak burst simultaneously can be a bit of a pain.

Good idea. I've been in many situations where I have needed something like this.

Well spotted. TBH i always assumed that there was a hotkey or a method i was unaware of to group trigger abilities. Good to know i wasn't being dim then.

Brilliant.

Also, make this apply to mass-autocast orders. Some orders apply to all but most don't. The explore order for scouts will apply to all scouts selected for example. But others like timed explosives on TEC scouts must be set to autocast one by one.

Oh, excelent point. Had forgotten to state that explicitly.

Edited the suggestion to include that too then - the point was Alt+click = "Everyone, do as I say please"

(Idly, just out of curiosity - does the Karma thing tend to attract more attention to a post in here, or is that a sidenote entirely?)

I would say sidenote. People give and recieve kudos all the time but not all of us give karma on a regular basis.

Besides a low karma score just proves that you have more of a social life outside of the Sins forum

Yup, trying to mass-rush a capital ship or a starbase with Advent scout's martyrdom ability is a bit of a pain, especially since by the time the first scout's blown up, the damage has probably been easily repaired.
