How do you mod Sins Vanilla

I am a noob at this game, but I love it! I also enjoy modding games like AOE3 and Oblivion, but I have no idea in hell how to do it for sins.

I know there's a string file and a lot of .entity files, but can somebody tell me what they actualy do?

So basically: HOW DO YOU MOD SINS???
