First I'd like to give credit, as I'm not the first to put this on the forum by mytrix.

Well I have Vista 64x Ultimate SP2, and for some reason with SP1 and SP2 my computer would frequently minidump out of custom maps with my friends. I have all my settings maxed out, and I have 8 gigabytes of ram. I did some searching and found /LargeAddressAware allows programs to go beyond a 2gb virtual memory block. I've set the linker for some of my games I was having issues with and so far all of them haven't crashed since making the change.
I found this website which has a link to the debugger CFF Explorer and instructions on how to change the /LargeAddressAware linker.

I hope this helps others, as so far it's helped myself and my step brother get back in the game. So far (4 hrs), crash free.
