I do admit, I completely missed that email being on that page, and that is my fault.
I would like to thank you for only pointing out my kurmudgeon, and not addressing any of the issues I brought up. Really, thank you.
I'm not asking for you to come to my house with a flash drive that has all of the old patches, or to call me up and walk through it with me. Just have the bloody email on the website.
At the very least have a little blurb in the FAQ that says "Sorry, we don't allow paying customers to download old patches."
I had to find a torrent with an older version of the game in order to get the version I was looking for. I paid, in full, for this game at a retail store, and in order to play a mod I had to download it.
How, sir, am I supposed to justify paying for your next game when this is what I had to do in order to play this one?
